My original musical work tends to explore the intersection of live musicianship with modern music technology. Most of my noteriety comes from the work I’ve done with live looping, but I’ve also spent a lot of time exploring sound design, signal processing, and more traditional synthesis methods.
With all that said: if people ask what I do, I usually tell them I’m a rock guitar player, and I still spend more time playing and practicing the guitar than any other way of making music.
Outside of creating original material, I also work at teaching, composition, and music transcription.
