I just got word that the June 10th show in Berkeley (at The Starry Plough) with Brian Kenney Fresno, will now also be featuring the inimitable Amy X Neuburg on the bill as well. Amy’s a fabulous singer/composer/performer, and one of my single favorite musicians using loops.
So the good news is that I get to share the bill with two fantastic artists. The bad news? This is a seriously intimidating prospect for me, as both Amy and Brian are utterly compelling, no-holds-barred performers, and can pretty much mop the floor with me. (Thank goodness I’m opening the show, as I couldn’t imagine having to go on after them…)
Still – as “bad news” goes, this is a very nice problem to have! Good times, good times…
