Recent developments over the last three or four days:
1) Confirmed a radio interview for WNYC with John Schaffer on Tuesday, March 15.
2) Recorded an in-studio performance and interview with Ronan Chris Murphy (a producer/engineer with an insanely extensive, eclectic, and enviable discography… not to mention being an unbelievably cool guy, as well) for his upcoming online radio show, to be webcast in the next few days. http://www.venetowest.com.
3) Confirmed two additional shows in New York City: Tuesday, March 15, at Galapagos, and Wednesday, March 16, at CB’s 313 Gallery. Both of these pre-Monkey gigs are with two other extremely cool acts: Triphazard (without whom neither of these shows would have materialized) and Sarge.
4) Got an offer to do a filming for a Connecticut television program, to discuss my music and do some playing, on the Monday or Tuesday of the week I’m there.
Somebody please tell me I’m an idiot the next time I complain about any supposed lack of interest or support for my music, OK? Good grief, I’m a lucky and grateful person…
